THIS WEEKS DRAMA!!
So I've been working in the fair ever since I was a senior in high school. I started the program because I had a chance to win a scholarship of $1,000, turns out that i would have had to work my junior year in order to get the scholarship but I didn't learn of this till after I had worked my first year! Turns out on my first year I met lots of nice people and I really liked the job it was pretty easy . I also like dealing with people. Well here starts the drama... My dad and my sister in-laws birthday are on April 5 that falls on a wed. The new thing is every birthday is celebrated at the farm. Parties are done on Sundays, my mom had mentioned to me about doing the party the sunday before the birthday but I told her I was going to work the fair so to make it the following Sunday, by then the fair would be over. Yesterday my mom tells me " you have to tell the fair you have an emergency and you can't work because your brother wants the party to be this Sunday" I told her no! to do it the following week because not only do I work but I had told my friends about going that day after I finished working. But they insist on doing it the weekend before and now I am the one that has to cancel her plans!!! I feel bad because it's my family but I had my plans why can't they just make it the following week?????what sould I do???

YOU SHOULD DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO...YOU MADE THE DECISION TO WORK AT THE FAIR AND UNFORTUNATELY YOU ARE SCHEDULED TO WORK THAT DAY...YOUR FAMILY SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE A RESPONSIBLE PERSON, AND I'M SURE THAT THEY ARE PROBABLY SAYING "ITS NOT EVEN A REAL JOB B/C YOU GET PAID NOTHING!" ITS THE PRINCIPLE OF THE THING...YOU MADE A COMMITMENT AND YOU SHOULD STICK TO IT...I THINK YOUR FAMILY SHOULD BE PROUD OF YOU!

I have to agree with the leader! if you made a commintment you should stick to it.
